About / CV
Mehbub Jokhio, is the most exciting prospect to emerge from the recent graduates. The subject of his work is vast, ranging from history to religion; love to violence. Depending upon his conceptual needs, his medium and format is similarly mercurial, stretching from video to collage, performative photography, painting and charcoal drawing. In many of his works, he unpacks familiar loaded imagery by tempering it in such a way that it creates a new unexpected relationship between the image and the viewer.
